2. Public Transport & Connectivity

Traveling via the Indian Railways is a convenient and scenic way to reach us. Depending on your starting point, follow these optimized routes:

  • From Mumbai (The Express Route): Take an express train to Lonavala Station. From here, the lakeside is a scenic 45-60 minute drive via private transport.

  • From Pune (The Local Route): Board a local train to Kamshet Station. This is the closest railhead to the lake, offering a shorter road commute.

    • Note: Train frequency is approximately every 45 minutes.

Reaching the Campsite from the Station: Once you exit the station (Lonavala or Kamshet), private cabs are readily available at the stands. Our campsites are located between 17 km to 22 km from these stations.

  • Travel Time: 3.5 – 4 Hours (due to slow terrain)

  • Road Condition: Poor. Expect steep inclines, narrow passes (Khind), and heavy potholes. Not recommended for small cars or sedans.
